Romans 1:18-32 - Becoming Fools [Livestream]

Romans 1:18-32 - Becoming Fools Man's greatest problem is not ignorance, but rejection. God has not been silent. He has revealed Himself through creation, through conscience, and most clearly through the gospel of Jesus Christ. The heavens declare His glory, His power is seen in what He has made, and His truth presses upon every human heart. Yet instead of glorifying Him as God and giving thanks, sinful man suppresses the truth, pushes God away, and tries to live as though the Creator has no claim over His creation. But rejecting God never leaves a person free. It leaves them empty. When man refuses the knowledge of God, his thinking becomes futile, his heart grows dark, his desires become corrupted, and his life begins to unravel. When people insist on turning from God, God may give them over to the very sins they have chosen. Yet we also see why grace is so necessary. The darkness of man’s rebellion makes the light of the gospel shine all the brighter. Apart from Christ, we are not merely weak or confused - we are guilty before a holy God. But in Christ, the righteousness of God is revealed to all who believe!
