Our month in Japan continued with two places that couldn't have been more different. We soaked up the sunshine in Okinawa, exploring quiet alleyways and tasting the freshest seafood, before heading north to Hokkaido, where snow-covered streets, cozy ryokans, new friends, and winter adventures were waiting for us. Somewhere between the beaches and the snowfall, we realized this trip had become so much more than a holiday. It became our "before goodbye."
