A Pulse Jet Engine That Runs On Gasoline

In this video I unbox and Run-test the single-chamber pulsejet engine. This thing runs on pure gasoline and is an absolute beast. I couldn't believe how loud it was it was too intense to even run inside my studio! The cool part about these Pulse Jet engines is their simplicity as they have virtually no moving parts (only a reed valve) making for a straightforward but compelling design. I set it all up including the new clear fuel tank and the surprisingly cool battery-powered ignition system. Watch as I fire up this monster, hear the initial sound like a sonic boom and then take it outside for an ear-shattering 20-second test run that shook the whole alley.
