The Most Beautiful Morakniv Eldris Sheath I’ve Made

I handcrafted a Nordic-style sheath for the Morakniv Eldris using only wood, leather, and traditional hand tools. This is one of the most beautiful sheaths I have ever made — a small, functional piece inspired by Nordic craft, natural materials, and the timeless character of Mora knives. The Morakniv Eldris is already a compact and practical knife, but I wanted to create a sheath that gives it a more traditional, handmade, and personal identity. The sheath combines a wooden inner core with a hand-finished leather exterior, shaped and assembled carefully by hand. No shortcuts, no mass production — just slow craft, texture, patience, and respect for the materials. Later this week, I will release a narrated video showing the full making process, including the design decisions, the wood and leather work, and the final finishing details. If you enjoy Mora knives, Nordic knife culture, leatherwork, woodcraft, or traditional handmade sheaths, this one is for you. Tell me in the comments: should Morakniv make more traditional Nordic-style sheaths for modern knives like the Eldris?
