Well you see, every Monday morning, I send a picture of Thog to my Discord server and ping all hundred-something members to wish them a very happy Thog Thursday. Now I know what you’re thinking. BuT fRoSTbYtE, why is it called Thog Thursday if this terrible, terrible bit takes place on a Monday? Well you see, it was a classic callback to an inside joke where my brother would send me very crunchy low-res images of Boog from Open Season on Tuesdays during the pandemic, except he would call every Tuesday Boog Thursday, which itself was a callback to a joke from The LEGO Movie where Lucy F.K.A. Wyldstyle declares that Taco Tuesday will be renamed to Freedom Friday, But Still On A Tuesday. Also, around the time when I started doing this on Twitter like… maybe five years ago? I was having a hard time getting out of bed in the morning, and I still am, but this stupid bit helped me get up and face the doldrums of Monday when even one more week felt like too daunting a task. I love Thog. That is why I made a video about Thog for Valentune's Day.
