One in ten French people has shopped online at least once in their life. It's a growing market, but it still lags behind the rest of e-commerce. Many consumers are still hesitant to buy groceries online. Expiration dates that are too close, fruits and vegetables that aren't fresh enough—those opposed to online shopping have no shortage of arguments. Yet, supermarkets have invested heavily in developing this new way of shopping. And according to them, from order preparation to delivery, their methods are supposedly impeccable.
