The Super 27 was a modification package which upgraded the pod engines JT8D-217C which provided much more thrust with its distinctive clamshell thrust reversers. Inside there were several modernising features such upgraded Rockwell Collins EFIS and AP, digital displays, FMS with LNAV/VNAV and RNP Approach capability. Today we’re going to fly from Atlanta (KATL) to Key West (KEYW).
