Serving Time
Locals say there’s a great little café just outside the fence of the Draper Prison. The Stakeout Breakfast Bagel, the Prison Blues Burger, and the Cell Mate BLT are all made by female inmates. It’s the only program of its kind for women in the Utah State Prison system, and we talked to Rose, Nicole, and Tammy about what stepping outside the walls to work does for them. Serving Time Café is open to the public weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. facebook.com/ServingTimeCafe/ Subtitulos en español disponibles.
