Felipe VI opened the second day of the UN General Assembly with a speech focused on denouncing the "massacre" the Israeli government is committing in Gaza. "We find it so difficult to understand what the Israeli government is doing in the Gaza Strip. That is why we cry out, we implore, we demand: stop this massacre now. No more deaths in the name of such a wise and ancient people, who have suffered so much throughout history," the monarch lamented. "These are abhorrent acts that are repugnant to the human conscience," said Felipe VI.
