Taylor Swift's 10 Seconds of Clarity

For the 3 people who care, The Life of a Showgirl does not rank in my Top 22 Taylor Swift Albums. It is a dishonorable mention. I also think the clean version of "Father Figure" has a better line than the original. "I can make deals with the devil because my check's bigger," is more evocative of that specific character and their worldview. I get what she was going for, but it really feels like an oversight to make that character reduce himself to a measuring contest when the only thing he would care to compare is bank accounts. The clean line just feels more specific and honest to the overall song, ya know?
