Harika was taking on 3 time world blitz champion and one time world rapid champion in the 4th round of FIDE Women's World Cup 2025. The classical section ended in 1-1 tie. Same was the case in 15+10 segment. Play now shifted into the 10+10 format where Harika and Lagno drew their first encounter.
