Araceli González and Mauricio Dayub starred in a very intense scene on the telenovela "Guapas" because Alejandro became incredibly angry—like never before—and almost hit Andrea. Andrea (Araceli González) and Alejandro (Mauricio Dayub) had separated, but later decided to give their relationship a second chance to see if they could rekindle what they once felt for each other. The lawyer wanted to take things a step further and began the adoption process. When the social worker arrived to assess the couple's situation and determine if they were ready to have another child, Andrea revealed that her husband no longer wanted to practice law and that she was a recovering alcoholic. Alejandro became extremely angry and nearly struck her.
