Obsidian isn't just for adding text. You can copy and paste images, PDFs, audio, videos, or any type of attachment very quickly and without any complications. You just need to know a few tricks, which I explain in this video. You can also resize images using the Markdown format. Regarding managing attachments alongside notes, another reason I use folders to categorize some topics is to include the attachments in a folder adjacent to the note that cites them.
