The most difficult pleco's: Gold Nugget, Mango/Magnum and Snowball Pleco's, Baryancistrus. #pleco

Baryancistrus has always been a difficult but beautiful genus of aquarium fishes, containing the gold nugget pleco and the Magnum/Mango pleco this group is a challenging aquarium algae eater. They are far from for the beginner. This video is to discuss aspects of their care in aquariums with a focus on their diet and biology. These fishes like warm tropical temperatures, a lot of flow and largely a quiet setup. They can be housed with some other fishes such as some slow feeding cichlids, tetra and such.
