DCP Hrushikesh Khilari stated that the preliminary investigation has found evidence suggesting that Bhimsen Tudu's actions were linked to Chandrika's death. Based on the ongoing probe, police have arrested Bhimsen Tudu and kept him at Baranga Police Station. According to the DCP, investigators have seized Bhimsen's laptop and tablet and have also gathered information from WhatsApp records. Police said Chandrika had called Bhimsen before her death, but he allegedly did not answer the calls. She reportedly tried contacting him from another phone number as well, but the calls were not received. Police have indicated that Bhimsen Tudu may be brought on remand for further questioning if required. The investigation is continuing as officials examine digital evidence and communication records connected to the case.
