Baldur's Gate - New Player Guide

Baldur's Gate is a complex game. It's based on the Dungeons & Dragons advanced 2nd edition ruleset (quite old) which involves many things that players might not be accustomed to, such as the spell system, rolling dice to determine the outcome of game actions, the way time flows in rounds and turns, and many other mechanics that can be confusing for new players. The purpose of this video is to try and guide new players in some areas they might be struggling with by providing an explanation of game mechanics and UI, tips on how to work with the multiple game systems as well as some recommendations I think are best for people trying out the game for the first time(s). Note: This video is recorded using Baldur's Gate 2 to exemplify, but what is being shown here applies exactly in the same way for Baldur's Gate 1.
