Exploring Rhuddlan Railway Station site - abandoned closed - Vale of Clwyd line - Rhyl - St Asaph
The small town of Rhuddlan, just south of Rhyl in North Wales was once served by a railway station on the long closed Vale of Clwyd line. The station closed in the 1950s after nearly a hundred years service. Today most of the site of the station has been turned into an attractive nature reserve. There is also a pub, hotel, supermarket, drive through restaurant and new main road covering the rest of the site. But there are still a few relics remaining from the past like the original steps down to the platform... Filmed on 7th March during permitted exercise during the Covid Lockdown. Images of the old station used in the video were taken from information boards at the site. #RhuddlanRailwayStation #RhuddlanNatureReserve #ValeOfClwydLine
