“The Journey Within” – A Cinematic Pilgrimage to the Birthplace of Confucius | Nishan Forum 2025 After nearly 24 hours of travel — through clouds, across continents, and deep into the heart of China — I found myself in Qufu, the sacred birthplace of Confucius. This wasn’t just a trip. It was a pilgrimage. In this cinematic story, I explore ancient temples, quiet stone villages, and sacred lands where Confucian thought was born. With my adventure cat Simon back home in Colorado, I brought my camera partner Landon to help capture something I knew couldn’t be told — only felt. From wandering through Luyuan Village where Confucius took his first steps, to exploring the Confucius Mansion and Temple, to standing on stage at the Nishan Forum 2025 — I reflect not just on what I learned, but what I remembered. 📜 As Confucius once said, “Wherever you go, go with all your heart.” And so… I did.
