Evan Greer - "Hellraiser" for Anne Feeney (Tiny Desk 2023)

Hi all, I'm a queer & trans singer/songwriter based in Boston and this is my Tiny Desk entry for 2023. I wrote this song for my dear friend, mentor, and longtime touring partner, Anne Feeney. She was a legendary labor singer, activist, and movement icon taken from us by COVID-19 back in 2021. It took me a little while to be ready to share this. I know we all want to pretend the pandemic is over, but it's so important we take time to grieve and be angry about those we lost who we shouldn't have.
