PKRA World Formula Karting - Dec 4, 2011- Ryan Troutwine

This was my first time ever racing with the Phoenix Kart Racing Association. We got up at 3 in the morning in Corona, CA and drove to Phoenix barely making in time for first practice. It was a rushed and crazy day up till the main. I shaved of seconds I learned the track an made a gear change. I was running second I the main when I blew a hole in my block. Nothing we did wrong, not the oils fault, just a block failure. All and all it was a fun experience. Many thanks to everyone who help me in the pits, it made this crazy one day trip worth it. This race was on the counter clockwise two straights layout, a very fun course to drive. I had 3 GoPro onboard cameras. Photos by Shelby Shively.
