"The Music of: Public History of Brazilian Music" presents an oral history interview with Márcio Greyck. Born in Belo Horizonte (MG) in 1947, he participated in television programs and shows in the Minas Gerais capital while still young. In the 1960s, he signed a contract with TV Tupi, where he began presenting his own television program. In 1967, he signed a contract with Polydor and released his first Long Play. In the following years, he worked with different record labels such as RCA Victor, CBS, Polygram, and Albatroz. He is the author of songs such as "Impossível Acreditar Que Perdi Você" (Impossible to Believe I Lost You) and "Vivendo Por Viver" (Living Just to Live), both written in partnership with his brother Cobel. His compositions have been recorded by various artists such as Roberto Carlos, Nando Reis, Trio Esperança, Vanessa da Mata, Daniel, and dozens of other singers.
