Phase II, another 500,000-kilowatt incentive-based project, was launched in 2021. It further expanded the integrated “PV + Ecology + Tourism + Animal Husbandry” model. An additional 19,000 mu were planted with Caragana and licorice, alongside the construction of sightseeing towers and eco-pastures, boosting incomes for surrounding farming and herding communities.
