The Supermarine Spitfire would not only be used as a fighter during the Second World War, but would also see service as a photo reconnaissance aircraft using cameras to gain intelligence about the enemy forces! Join me on the workbench in this video as I build and review the Airfix Supermarine Spitfire PR.XIX plastic model kit in 1/72 scale. This particular kit comes from the Limited Edition Airfix 2024 D-Day Duo Club Kit (A73016) which also featured a Hawker Typhoon Mk.IB. In this video I focus on what this Spitfire model kit was like to build and discover that there is one part of the kit that has a bit of a problem . . . I explore the steps I take to build, paint, apply the decals and finally round off with a review at the end.
