Do Sound Deadener Pads Work to Reduce Speaker Cabinet Resonance? Lining enclosure with Siless 80 mil

I'm making some headway with the RCA STS-1230 vintage loudspeaker DIY project and today I'm installing and testing Siless 80 mil sound deadener pads, to see if they'll reduce cabinet resonances. https://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=U... sound Deadener " Believe it or not, this is already part 16 of this speaker project and I'm ever so close to being done with cabinet bass tuning. There's a bunch of sound deadening and anti resonance products on the market, some of them are quite pricey too. Since this is a low budget, bang for the buck speaker build, I was looking for something inexpensive to use, that would be easy enough for anyone to find and try. I selected the Siless sound deadener pads from Amazon and although I hate to ruin the fun of watching what happens, I think they'll do the trick just fine. Thanks for watching!
