THE CROW (1994) Filming Locations and the Death of Brandon Lee | Wilmington, NC | Abandoned Factory

Locations for THE CROW have always been difficult to nail down. You can really only find information about the fact that they filmed at Carolco Studios (now EUE/Screen Gems) and the abandoned Ideal Cement Factory. There was no way a film studio was going to let me on the lot to make a video and I knew the factory would be hard to access. Luckily, I got SOMETHING out of it. After we got home, I read a book about the making of THE CROW which revealed a few more practical locations, so I pieced together what I could for this video. Not our typical style when it comes to locations videos, but I hope you will find out something you didn't know! ▶️ Please subscribe to Going to the Movies!:    / goingtothem.  . 📸 Follow on Instagram:   / going2themo.  . 🤳 Follow on TikTok:   / goingtothemovies   #thecrow #brandonlee #wilmingtonnc THE CROW was shot in Wilmington, North Carolina. Most of the film was done on the backlot and soundstages of what was then called Carolco Studios. 0:00 - Intro 1:10 - Brandon Lee and The Crow Overview 2:15 - Club Trash & Top Dollar's Board Room 4:18 - Albrecht's Apartment 4:53 - Mystery Locations 5:27 - Carolco Studios (EUE/Screen Gems) 5:46 - Backlot Breakdown 7:00 - Soundstages 7:44 - The Final Day of Brandon Lee 8:15 - Soundstage 4 - Where Brandon Lee Was Shot 8:35 - How a Prop Gun Killed Brandon Lee 9:00 - New Hanover - Where Brandon Lee Died 9:18 - Outro
