Hisayoshi Harasawa is a semi-retired Japanese male judoka, who competes in the +100 kg weight category. He is 1-time World and Olympic silver medalist as well as 1-time Asian champion and World bronze medalist. Harasawa was the main heavyweight player in the Japanese national team throughout the 2010s decade. He was one of many elite heavyweights unfortunate to be competing in the same era as the unstoppable Teddy Riner.
