Building A Mason Bee Condo
Using a table saw with our special three round-toothed tool, each channel in the trays comes out in a u-shape similar to the way a router would make. A flat bottom channel can also work using a simple dato blade but it's more efficient for bee progeny when going round but of course, you would have to use paper tubes each year which is more expense and work. These channels also lend themselves for putting see through covers on them so you can actually see your egg laying females and developing larvae within, over the spring and summer season.
