Caminé una de las Avenidas más Importantes de Puerto Rico

Today we took our usual walk, this time along 65th Infantry Avenue, from the Carolina jurisdiction to the heart of Rio Piedras in San Juan. 65th Infantry Avenue honors the military regiment composed mostly of Puerto Ricans, known as the "Borinqueneers." This regiment was formed in 1899 and distinguished itself for its bravery in World War I and World War II. This battalion received more than 2,700 Purple Hearts and hundreds of medals for its distinguished service. This main thoroughfare that crosses the metropolitan area was named in honor of all these heroes. If you want to walk this famous avenue with me, then stay with PRAPIE
