Mastering Jamiroquai's 'Runaway' Bass Cover: A Must-Watch

Bass cover of Jamiroquai "Runaway" from 2006 album "High Times: Singles 1992-2006" Jamiroquai is probably one of the funkiest bands of the last 25 years. Singer and frontman Jay Kay is always surrounded by elite players and specially bassists. All of their lines are funky, groovy and technical at the same time. Most of them are truly remarkable from a bass player point of view. Bassist Paul Turner recorded this bass track and is VERY tricky to master. Not only is very syncopated but every single Chorus (8x) has a different arrangement. That means he plays it in a different way every single time, adding notes and subtleties all the time. I didn`t know before attempting too learn it, so it took longer than expected :)
