Words and Pictures: TH (1993) - FULL EPISODE

Lots of this, that, these and those as we learn about the letters TH, which are also demonstrated by a thumb, a thermometer, the number thirty, a thistle, a thorn, a thimble (would kids recognise one nowadays?) and a thermos (which used to be a brand name and therefore capitalised, but is now generic. You can't say I don't research these descriptions). The best, though, has to be the shadow theatre, with its Winnie the Pooh characters. Meanwhile, Sophie Aldred visits Cannon Lane First School for their year two picnic and finds herself making sandwiches for 90 people, the story is called This Is the Bear and the Picnic Lunch (by Sarah Hayes), and, given the theme of picnics and teddy bears, if you can't guess what song we end on, you have no imagination whatsoever. Incidentally, do you call them "chocolate rocks"? I don't. I don't know what I do call them, but I don't think I've ever heard them called that before.
