Airport Operations Management in SESAR

This video is about the SESAR Airport Operations Plan (or AOP). The OAP will : provide all airport stakeholders, including airlines, airport operators, air navigation service providers, ground handlers, and de-icing agents, with a common information source be the principal means by which the integration of airports into the overall ATM network will be achieved. In order to further study the AOP and to move toward airport performance monitoring, EUROCONTROL and the SEAC airports consortium have provided specification requirements for a Fast-Time simulation model called CAST. CAST contains: a complete airside and landside infrastructure a high fidelity representation of the flow of passengers through the various processes within a terminal an accurate representation of the turnaround activities associated to an aircraft.
