Attempted bus rescue, failed inspection cannot make the deal
It’s sickening to me that this bus was not going to be a good candidate for us to rescue. The specific setup of this bus with the non detroit diesel engine and having a crankcase full of water for years was a deal breaker at the asking price. Expensive towing bill plus the engine work it was going to be a huge expense. Inspection of the bus before money changed hands saved us many thousands of dollars.
