Marilyn Cote, a lawyer who offered psychiatric consultations without medical training, was arrested by the Puebla Attorney General's Office. The Attorney General's Office detailed that, in collaboration with the Tlaxcala Attorney General's Office, the lawyer is accused of practicing medicine without a license. Cote was reported by her patients and psychiatrists for offering consultations without any medical training. She even allegedly issued illegal prescriptions for controlled medications.
