It doesn't seem like a direct rebellion, it doesn't seem like a categorical refusal of God, it doesn't seem like a dramatic choice. And yet, on a spiritual level, procrastination can become one of the most dangerous forms of resistance. In this profound sermon, Lucian Cristescu speaks about the madness of procrastination, about man's tendency to always push back what God asks of him today. It is a serious, searching and very current message, because the human heart is often willing to recognize the truth, but not to respond to it immediately. The message shows that the problem of procrastination is not just one of rhythm or organization, but one of relationship with God. When man postpones repentance, obedience, change, forgiveness, or surrender of his life, he is not only making a practical choice, but a spiritual one. He is essentially saying that he knows what is good, but he does not yet want to be transformed by that good. This is precisely where the madness of postponement lies: man believes that he still has time, that there will be a more suitable moment, a better state, a more convenient day, without understanding that the heart can harden precisely through the repeated refusal to respond to God's call. The sermon explores the fact that the devil does not always need to convince man to say "no" to God. Often it is enough to make him say "later." This strategy is extremely dangerous, because it preserves the illusion of a good intention. Lucian Cristescu emphasizes that the Bible always treats God's call in terms of the present. God speaks today. Grace works now. His voice demands a response now. Not because God is arbitrary or hasty, but because He knows the fragility of man, the instability of the heart and the uncertainty of tomorrow. The sermon also touches on the concrete area of Christian life. There are people who postpone sincere repentance. Others postpone forgiving. Others postpone breaking off a wrong relationship, leaving a hidden sin, starting a life of prayer, repairing their home, making peace with someone or responding to a clear call from God. In all these situations, the postponement feeds on the same lie: that there is still enough time and that the decision can be made later without consequences. But the truth is that any day in which man knows the good and does not do it is a day in which the soul loses ground. This sermon brings a clear call to awakening, to lucidity and immediate obedience. It is not a message meant to scare without hope, but to shake that false peace in which man believes that he will always have the opportunity to return whenever he wants. God's grace is great, but it should not be treated superficially. It is a gift, a calling and a holy opportunity. To postpone is to take a risk. To respond today is to enter into the light and will of God. 🙏 Prayer: "Lord, deliver me from the madness of procrastination and help me to respond to Your call without delay. Give me a sensitive, obedient and determined heart, so that I do not leave for tomorrow what You ask of me today. Amen." 👉 Support the production of Christian sermons and materials: https://bibliazilnica.ro 📌 Subscribe for Christian sermons and deep Bible studies: https://www.youtube.com/resurse?sub_c...
