🌴 Pulau Pangkor Day 2: Beach Adventures & Local Eats 🏖️ Day 2 of our Pulau Pangkor trip was packed with amazing experiences and delicious food! After hours of island hopping and enjoying the breathtaking beaches, we were starving and ready to dive into some local delicacies. 🍽️ Lunch at Yew Yeong Restaurant We cleaned up at our homestay and drove to town, where we stumbled upon Yew Yeong Restaurant. Known for its variety, this spot serves: Economy rice Noodles Specialty: Deep-fried eel Rare find: Singapore Fried Prawn Noodles We couldn’t resist trying most of the dishes and even added roast pork and chye boey from the neighboring coffeeshop to our meal. A truly satisfying lunch! 🍛 Dinner: A Cozy Feast After an afternoon of rest (where I accidentally overslept past dinnertime!), the gang brought back an incredible spread of: Ikan bakar (BBQ fish in banana leaf) Fried chicken Squid, egg, and prawns We paired these with instant noodles and eggs, creating a simple yet delicious dinner at the homestay. 🌙 Nightlife at Teluk Nipah Around 9 PM, we headed to Teluk Nipah’s walking street, where the vibrant night market came alive with: A captivating fire show 🔥 Street food galore I ended the night with a fantastic tomyum soup with rice.
