1830s Working Petticoats and Pockets || A Historical Sewing Vlog

I needed some working style petticoats and a pair of 1830s printed pockets for my lower class 1830s clothing. The first petticoat is scavenged from a 18th century style cotton sheet, made up as a nice working petticoat that is dark enough to hide the dirt. The second petticoat is yellow wool and is a perfect final petticoat for working situations. Both pockets are made from leftover cotton print and tie around the waist with cotton twill tape.
