Indeed, We know that you have turned your face towards the sky. We will direct you to a Qibla that will please you. And turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque. And wherever you are, turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque. Indeed, those who were given the Book know that it is a command from their Lord in truth. And Allah is not heedless of what they do. (2:144) 145. And indeed, even if you were to bring to those who were given the Book all the proofs, they would not follow your qiblah, nor would you follow their qiblah. And indeed, they do not follow the qiblah of one another. And indeed, if you were to follow their desires after the knowledge that has come to you, you would certainly be among the wrongdoers. (2:145) 146. Those to whom We gave the Book know it as they know their own children. Yet, a group of them knowingly conceal the truth. (2:146) 147. The truth is from your Lord. So do not be among those who doubt! (2:147) 148. Everyone has a direction to which he turns. And strive in good deeds. And Allah will gather you together wherever you are. Indeed, Allah has power over all things. (2/Al-Baqarah, 148) 149. Wherever you come from, turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque. Indeed, this is a truth from your Lord. And Allah is not oblivious to what you do. (2/Al-Baqarah, 149) 150. Wherever you come from, turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque. And wherever you are, turn your faces towards the Sacred Mosque. So that people may not have any argument against you except the wrongdoers. And do not fear them. Fear Me only, so that I may complete My favor upon you, so that you may be guided.
