Gibson ES-300 1946 - I'm Confessin' That I Love You

Hey YouTubers, Here is a new video of my Gibson ES-300. It's been recently equipped with a Charlie Christian mic' made upon request by Pete Biltoft. It was previously mounted by an equivalent PU from Jason Lollar. I must say that it sounded very good before but I am more satisfied by the tonal signature of Pete's mic'. The Lollar was great but tipically sounding like a P90; Pete's one is more trustful to a Charlie Christian tone, i. e. darker than a P90 but with this peculiar chime on the attacks. I think my ES300 will stay with that mike for a while. Gear : amp is a Fender Deluxe '65 reissue (Blackface). Strings are Thomastik-Infeld Swing 12-50. Mic' used for recording was a Shure SM57 in front of the amp.
