10mm Showdown: FN 510 Tactical vs M&P Carry Comp (Shooting + Recoil Test)

Today we’re putting two serious 10mm handguns head-to-head: • FN 510 Tactical • Smith & Wesson M&P Performance Center Carry Comp Both are modern duty-size 10mm pistols, but they approach recoil management and performance in very different ways. The FN 510 Tactical brings: longer barrel threaded muzzle huge 22-round magazines classic FN duty pistol ergonomics Meanwhile the M&P Carry Comp uses a factory ported barrel and slide to help reduce recoil and muzzle rise in a shorter 4-inch package. So the question becomes: Can a ported 4-inch gun compete with a longer full-size 10mm? What we test in this episode We run both pistols side-by-side and look at: • Accuracy testing • Recoil characteristics • Slow-motion muzzle flip comparison • Rapid-fire performance using a shot timer • Real-world handling differences Both guns are also running heavier recoil springs because I tend to shoot hotter 10mm loads.
