Brisbane Roar Anzac Ceremony 2022
Brisbane Roar was proud to once again hold an Anzac Ceremony in 2022. A ceremony that was executed with precision by the 1st Regiment Royal Australian Artillery. The ceremony consisted of a Catafalque Guard, The Ode, The Last Post, The Rouse, and finished with the New Zealand and Australian National Anthems. The Catafalque Guard was commanded by Bombardier Dean Russell and consisted of four Sentries from the 1st Regiment Royal Australian Artillery. The Catafalque Guard mounted around the Australian and New Zealand National Flags representing a symbolic coffin for those who have paid the supreme sacrifice and fallen in war. The Ode was recited by Warrant Officer class 2, Brendan Murray. Th Last Post and The Rouse was conducted by Private Liam Smith.
