Erland and the Carnival play Was You Ever See live at the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen in London N1 on 6 May 2010. Was You Ever See can be found on Erland and the Carnivals eponymous debut album. If you haven't heard the album yet, check it out. It is still my favourite album of the year so far and is likely to feature in many 'album of the year' lists come December. Erland and the Carnival are a five piece, London-based band, fronted by Orcadian songwriter, vocalist and guitarist Erland Cooper, Simon Tong, of the Verve and The Good, The Bad and the Queen fame, and drummer/engineer extraordinaire David Nock. Erland and the Carnival will be supporting Paul Weller for four consecutive nights at the Royal Albert Hall in London, starting May 25, so if you are going to see the Modfather, make sure you get there early!
