Guía de buenas prácticas para contenidos audiovisuales accesibles | Ayuntamiento de Valencia (2026)

It includes subtitles and Spanish Sign Language. During the first quarter of 2026, the Valencia City Council took a historic step towards inclusive communication with the approval of the "Guide to Good Practices for the Creation and Dissemination of Accessible Audiovisual Content," drafted by the Mi Cine Inclusivo Association at the request of the Directorate General for Disability. This guide establishes the universal accessibility and design standards for all people that will govern municipal audiovisual production, differentiating between adapting existing content and incorporating accessibility from the outset. 🏆 The Valencia City Council's "What is a COM?" campaign is the first audiovisual work produced applying this guide, marking a turning point in accessible public communication. The document was developed with the participation of disability organizations, the regional CERMI (Spanish Committee of Representatives of People with Disabilities), and the City Council's Department of Communication and Networks, and has been approved by the Local Governing Board. Directed, written, filmed, and edited by Miguel Ángel Font Bisier 🔗 Learn more about My Inclusive Cinema: www.micineinclusivo.com
