On May 15th, after a short "May" break, we continued our webinar series "Seriously About Money." As always, we were almost sold out – 428 participants, a great and engaging speaker, and lots of questions and excitement. When you reduce the term, you thereby reduce the amount of time over which you will accrue interest." Sometimes, one little "shorten term" button can save you money comparable to a beach vacation 🌴 ⏺"Besides additional income, we might also have other income such as income tax refunds, cashback, and social benefits." Money that's already owed to you but you haven't yet collected isn't income, it's a loss. Tax deductions, cashback, and benefits: check them once a year and remind yourself that they're yours. ⏺"They take the money, withdraw it from your credit card, and deposit it within this grace period. Rethink saving: it's not about deprivation, it's about buying your own time and freedom. Sounds much more inspiring, right? 🕊 ⏺ "[on impulse buying] Before buying something, imagine you'll never show it to your friends—will you really need it after seeing it that way?" A life hack against social pressure and status-conscious consumption. An honest answer to this question saves more than any coupon. ⏺ "We save, we create reserves for our operating expenses, and we invest, saving for the future. This is what will give us the opportunity for expanded reproduction." ⏺The three pillars of personal finance: savings → reserves → investments. Not sequentially, but in parallel. This is the "I-Corporation" strategy in its final form.
