7 years ago; I left Eldoret - a broken man. I left my life behind, my position, my comfort, my woman. I left everything behind and moved to Nairobi in the pursuit of greener pastures. In the 10th episode of my Kenyan roadtrip series, I return to Eldoret, the town that saw the beginning of my adult life. It was in Eldoret that I joined university, and dropped out 2 years later because of school fee areas. It was in Eldoret that I was employed in my first proper job - as a customer service rep at Tuskys supermarket. It was in Eldoret that I began my career as a life insurance agent, after leaving tuskys. It was in Eldoret that I stayed with a woman in something approaching a marriage environment. Eldoret was my home and my forge. 7 years later I returned, and visited many of my old haunts. Walking in the streets of Eldoret, I remembered my life and reaffirmed my purpose.
