A non/disney crossover series: Ship of dreams Chapter 1 part 1

This is my first disney crossover series ever and unfortunately I dont have a good editing program so Im sorry that it doesnt look as good as many other crossovers. I would just like to clarify two things: 1. Tom (Jim) is not the main character of the story. He was just the character that got the most screentime in the first episode. 2. Veronica (Ariel) is human eventhough I use a lot of scenes where she is in mermaid form. Unfortunately since Ariel doesnt talk while in her human form in The little mermaid it is very hard to only use her human scenes when she is in a conversation. A little it of backstory: The Land of Dreams is a legendary land where dreams are said to come true. It lies on the other side of the horizon but no one knows where. In order to find it you must have a map, a compass and the ship must be built in a very special way. The people in this city (where the characters live) have been preparing for this trip for many years and finally they have found the last piece of the puzzle, the map, that the prince found at sea. In celebration of this the king decides to throw a festival for the commoners and throw a ball for some of the more fancy citizens. Plot: It all begins with the prince arriving with his ship and the map is carried of the ship. It is glowing with its magical energy. On one of the rooftops a seventeen year old boy, Tom, is sitting and is looking very sad. He listens as his mother complains in the kitchen about him going away tomorrow. She feels that he is not ready for this and will throw his life away for a land that might not even exist. He´s thoughts gets interrupted by music from the streets. The festival has started and Tom runs down to look at it. At the festival is also his friends Veronica and David, and Veronica is clearly very excited. A dancer appears on stage and Tom is very fascinated by her moves and how wild and free she looks (something he hasn't really experienced). After her number Veronica spots Tom and runs up to him with David. They talk about the Ship of Dreams and David is very excited to take of tomorrow. When they mention the ship the girl that performed earlier starts to listen to them. Tom tells David and Veronica about his mother and they get really worried that he might not get to come. (The reason why Veronica can relate to how he feels will be revealed in the next episode) Veronica suddenly remembers that she promised that she would help her sister get ready for the kings ball and she and David storms of leaving Tom a little down about the fact that he had not been invited to the party The girl who has been listening to their conversation walks up to Tom and starts talking to him. She tries to cheer him up by saying that a Royal ball probably wouldnt be very fun. He compliments her on her dancing and she asks him to show her what he likes to do for fun. He takes out his solarsurfingboard and flies around in a restricted area. The girl stands on the ground wathing him impressed and spins around as he does. When they´re having fun the police suddenly shows up. They take Tom since he is not sloud to solarsurf therebut when they notice the gypsy girl things get worse. They jump to the conclusion that she had conviced him to help her steal the Money she had dropped on the ground. They doesnt really like gypsies. As they tries to arrest her Tom jumps of from his board and shouts at them to leave her alone. She manages to fight the guards of and Tom tells her to run. He is glad that she got away but still sad that it had to end that way. The guards takes him home to his mother who is furious about what happened. He gets mad at the cop for calling his friend a thief. She fears that he will become a criminal when he sails of. She wishes for him to grow up and explains how hard it will be for her to let him go. He then tells her that he knows how hard it will be for her but he has to go since that ship might be the only Place where he might actually fit in. She finally makes Peace with him leaving knowing that it is his Dream. The girl, whos real name is revealed to be Serafina, tells a group of pirates about the information that she has gathered and one of the pirates is ordered to go and get the map at the ball tonight.
