PART 1: 6 Bikes, 1 Dead Battery, and Food Tied to My GS 1250 — POV Ride to Pursat

PART 1 of 2 — Phnom Penh to Pursat, Cambodia 🇰🇭 6 riders, 6 different bikes, one unplanned road trip across Cambodia. We started the morning with coffee and buns at Pou Coffee, Psa Dey Hoy in Phnom Penh — no fixed destination, just six of us deciding where to go as we rode. The squad: BMW GS 1250 HP, Kawasaki ZH2, Z1000, Z800, 1000SX, and a BMW M1000R. All the riding, jokes, and trash talk you hear were recorded live through our Sena intercoms — road condition callouts, races between bikes, singing, the works. First stop was Kampong Chhnang, but it felt too short, so we kept riding to Pursat where one of the crew has a farm. Along the way: 🔧 My GS 1250's battery died at a fuel stop in Kampong Chhnang. Got it jump-started with a charger, but dropped the screw for the battery cover somewhere near the ECU and couldn't fish it out — lost almost 30 minutes to that. Ended up borrowing a screw off my friend's M1000R rear seat just to close the cover and keep going. 🍜 No top box on the GS, so lunch from Pursat market got strapped to the back of the bike with straps — looked ridiculous but it worked. 📷 Almost at the farm, the ZH2 rider realized he'd left his camera back at the petrol station.
