Yoyoikai: Conversando
While partners Pedro Favarón and Chonon Bensho are both Peruvians, they come from very different cultures. In Yoyoikai: Conversando, each addresses the divide between Peru’s indigenous and Mestizo populations and the story of how they were able to bridge that divide by sharing their language, healing practice, and love for one another. This film was produced for Guestbook Project's "Exchanging Stories - Changing History" initiative by Pedro Favarón and Chonon Bensho with assistance from Marcio Perez de la Cruz, Reynaldo Vela Saavedra, and Karla Fernandez del Aguila. Translations were produced by Eileen Rizo-Patron. For more information on Guestbook Project and our initiatives, please visit guestbookproject.org
