PRISCILLA COOLIDGE at the Palomino - September 18, 1994 - Angel’s Flight benefit [STEREO]
Priscilla Coolidge was one of the first performers in the daylong Angel’s Flight benefit concert at the Palomino. Those who arrived early enough were treated to this intimate performance featuring two songs that she co-wrote. I originally posted this video in 2022, with audio from the mono camcorder tape. This new version has a stereo remix that makes the vocals more prominent. 00:00 - intro 01:20 - “I Need You” 06:45 - “When Love Was All We Knew” 11:27 - credits Priscilla Coolidge - vocals Buck Johnson - keyboards [first song] Ray Stinnett - guitar [second song] “I Need You” was written by Priscilla Coolidge, William Daniel Smith and Mary Tillie Unobsky. Maurice White’s recording of the song was released in 1985. “When Love Was All We Knew” was written by Priscilla Coolidge and her sister Rita Coolidge. Priscilla and Rita recorded the song with Priscilla’s daughter Laura Satterfield under the group name Walela, and released it in their 2000 CD “Unbearable Love.” The song also appears in their 2004 release “Live in Concert,” which is available on DVD and CD.
