Elam, la scrittura perduta

RAI Program - 5,000 Years and More. The Long History of Humanity (September 2024/25) - Elam, the Lost Script The story of a great adventure of knowledge: the deciphering of an ancient language, that of an ancient, unknown civilization from the southwestern Iranian plateau, also described in the Bible: Elam. "5,000 Years and More. The Long History of Humanity" is a journey through writing and archaeology, from France to the Orient, introduced by Giorgio Zanchini with Giovanna Biga, archaeologist and historian. The journey follows research that, after more than fifteen years, archaeologist François Desset and his team have succeeded in reviving a millennia-old civilization, revealing the great secrets of this Elamite linear script. At the same time, this research paves the way for a new interpretation of the finds from this civilization, challenging the way the history of writing and its origins has been told until now.
