Overlanding the Lost Sierra 4x4 Trail - Part 2
Days 2 and 3 of our adventure to the Lost Sierra of Northern California. The 204 mile long Lost Sierra 4x4 Trail is an epic adventure through the old gold fields of the Northern Sierra. The route features 32 discovery points including stops at old mining claims and camps, two ghost towns, passes by dozens of looks and 3 lookouts. For part two we'll visit Plumas-Eureka State Park and the Eureka Mine, Mills Peak Fire Lookout, Lakes Basin Viewpoint, Gold Lake and Lots-o-lakes OHV Trails, the Sierra Buttes Fire Lookout and cap things off with a drive through the historic downtown of Downieville.
